2008 05 31 - Tandoor North Indian Restaurant



Presented by HSBC, this is part of The New Paper Lifestyle Gourmet series.


Chef Singh will show off how to make four dishes - tandoori chicken, tandoori lobster, tawa macchi (spiced grilled fish) and bhindi jaipuri (deep-fried spicy lady fingers).

This specially-chosen menu will display the versatility of tandoori, a technique which goes beautifully with exotic seafood or regular chicken.
A must-try is the tandoori lobster - a special creation that is not available on the restaurant's menu.

After the demonstration, you'll get to feast on a specially prepared buffet spread, accompanied by selected wines from Crystal Wines.

Tandoor's regular Sunday buffet costs $65per person, but the workshop is only $25per person. HSBC credit card holders get anadditional 10per cent off.
