Crianza 2003
Cherry colour with purple tones. Ripe fruit aroma (plum and blackberries) with
clean and frank oak roasts on the nose. Broad on the palate with even and very
fine tannins. A long aftertaste leaving a very subtle light toast hints in mouth.

Crianza 2005
Dark red in colour. Ripe berries with roasted nuts aromas. Firm structure,
with modest flavours of plum, mineral and cigarbox.

Reserva 2003
Black fruit reminiscent of vanilla, forming a complex, elegant bouquet. Fleshy
with good body and structure provided by its fine and elegant tannins. The
Wood-Wine coupling will leave a velvety sensation in the mouth, besides an
extremely long aftertaste, so characteristic of a Protos wine.

Bodegas Protos was Ribera del Duero’s pioneer winery. Protos’ history harks back to 1927, when the area’s growers combined their efforts to establish a winery, Ribera’s very first.
