2009 07 26 - Kura No Naka @ Clark Quay

Kura No Naka Japanese Restaurant is located in the newly revamped Clarke Quay. The name in Japanese means "Treasure In A Quay". The theme of the restaurant is Edo period of Japan. The ambience and look is rustic and village like.

A relaxing Sunday afternoon spent at Kura No Naka. The bento set was value for money. It comes with sashimi ( salmone and tuna ), assorted tempura, stir-fried pork slices with potato, pickles, miso soup and a soft chewy desserted coated with peanut. Inaddition, we were served a refreshing orange juice with fruit pulps, blueberry ice-cream and coffee to end the lunch. For $20, it is a good experience.
