2010 03 13 - Piccini

Born in 1882 as a small family enterprise of only 17 acres, the estate was guided the words of the founder, Angiolo Piccini: It is not how much you’re doing, but the passion you put into the doing." Hewing almost religiously to that precept, subsequent generations have brought Tenute Piccini to its position today as one of the most recognized brands of Tuscan wine and the owner of four estates totaling 1000 acres: Piccini, Valiano, Tenuta Moraia and Villa al Cortile. Together the account for 10 to 12 percent of all Chianti production.
